Vadim Tsukanov, Head of Seed Quality Control Department at EkoNiva’s breeding and seed production division, has been recognised with honors from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation for many years of conscientious work in the agro-industrial sector.

Vadim Tsukanov, a graduate of Kursk State Agricultural Academy, began working at EkoNiva in 2008 as a specialist. Nowadays, he manages a most sophisticated system of seed certification and approbation that covers tens of thousands of hectares in Kursk, Voronezh, Ryazan and Novosibirsk oblasts. He has planned and equipped a network of seed control laboratories, where 26 specialists are working, verifying up to 120,000 tonnes of seeds per year. In his work, Vadim Tsukanov combines the scientific approach and systemic management: the reporting systems and marking standards introduced by him helped the inner quality control to achieve a whole new level.

Vadim Tsukanov also participates in forming a commercial Seed Warehouse, planning the sowing processes at the group’s seed farms and ensures thorough production control of the seed material. He efficiently runs the department that releases thousands of conformity certificates annually and is the key consultant in integrating digital state systems like the Argus-Laboratoriya, Argus-Phyto and My Export Federal State Informational Systems.
