The total beef herd of EkoNiva is 7,400 head. The company is a breeding reproducer of Hereford and Aberdeen Angus cattle. Its farming enterprises are located in Voronezh, Novosibirsk and Orenburg oblasts and perform cross-breeding of Aberdeen Angus bulls with cows of Simmental, Charolais and Hereford breeds and low-yielding dairy cows.

EkoNiva’s beef cattle breeding implies rearing calves until they reach the age of 5-6 months for further sale to specialised feedlots and farms. The company employs low-cost grazing technologies and keeps suckling calves on natural pastures.

EkoNiva also sells pedigree heifers of Aberdeen-Angus and Hereford breeds.
