EkoNiva announces operating results over 2025

EkoNiva Group, Russia's largest dairy holding, announces operating results over 2025 across the main business segments: dairy farming, milk processing and crop growing.

Dairy farming
Based on the results of 2025, the gross milk yield increased by 7 per cent up to 1.45 million tonnes of raw milk in physical weight, exceeding the previous year’s result by 100,000 tonnes (2024: 1.35 million tonnes). In fat- and protein-corrected weight (fat content: 3.7%, protein content: 3.2%), this parameter amounted to 1.6 million tonnes (2024: 1.44 million tonnes, +11%). The Group continues to maintain the leadership position in the Russian raw milk market. The average daily milk yield over the reporting period reached 3,970 tonnes (2024: 3,680 tonnes). The milk yield per dairy cow over the year increased from 31.7 up to 33.1 kg/day in physical weight and from 33.8 up to 36.5 kg in fat- and protein-corrected weight.

EkoNiva Group is continuously enhancing the productivity of the dairy herd. Special emphasis is put on growing and harvesting balanced feedstuffs, formulating optimal rations. Besides, a long-term strategy of the herd’s genetic potential improvement is underway.
In the reporting period, the average cattle population across EkoNiva Group’s dairies amounted to over 251,200 head (2024: 248,000 head; +1%), thereof 120,100 head of dairy cows (2024: 116,500; +3%). In August 2025, the Group commissioned Penevichi dairy in Khvastovichi district, Kaluga oblast. Designed for 3,550 cows and 4,630 head of young stock, the dairy’s annual production output is approx. 40,000 tonnes of raw milk.
Milk processing
In January-December 2025, EkoNiva Group produced 285,400 tonnes of finished dairy goods, which is 8 per cent lower than in the previous year (2024: 309,400 tonnes). Namely, the production of drinking milk and traditional dairy produce (cream, kefir, sour cream, curds, butter, etc.) amounted to 274,400 tonnes, thereof 7,900 tonnes of yoghurt-dessert group (including ice-cream), 3,100 tonnes of cheeses. Last year, the Group reduced cooperation with partner plants, on whose sites the company produced goods under chains’ private labels on co-packing terms.

In 2025, EkoNiva Group expanded the production capacity of the curds plant at the dairy factory in Anna, Voronezh oblast. Commissioning of four new curd vats enabled the company to double the performance – up to 20 tonnes of finished produce per day. In addition, the product portfolio was complemented with EkoNiva Professional Line lactose-free milk and High Focus, a modern dairy drink, during the year. By the end of 2025, the range of produce under the EKONIVA brand comprised 141 SKUs (2024: 134).
The Group’s products are sold in major federal retail chains, including Magnit, Lenta, Perekrestok, Pyaterochka, Globus, O’KEY, Metro, etc. In 2025, EkoNiva continued expanding its own retail business by opening 23 branded stores. By the end of 2025, the Group operated a total of over 100 own brand stores in 15 regions of Russia.
EkoNiva Group continued developing the export of dairy products. Over the reporting period, the Group has commenced the supply of semi-hard and hard cheeses to Azerbaijan and Georgia as well as carried out the first deliveries of skimmed milk powder overseas.
Crop growing and harvest season results
Based on the results of Crop 2025, the gross yield of cash crops amounted to 1.24 million tonnes (2024: 1.08 million tonnes, +15%). Namely, 687,000 tonnes of cereals, 161,000 tonnes of pulses, 52,500 tonnes of oilseed crops and 343,000 tonnes of sugar beets was gathered.

Besides, EkoNiva subdivisions harvested 1 million tonnes of feedstuffs in dry matter, which is higher than the previous year’s figure (2024: 972,000 tonnes). The Group fully met the needs of its herd in succulent feed and roughages.
In 2025, the Group allocated 63,600 ha for winter crops, including seeds. Winter wheat accounted for the major share, i. e. about 50,000 ha.
