The solemn opening ceremony of the sixth session of the Agricultural Student Team MOST took place at Vysokoye dairy (Voronezh Oblast).
EkoNivaAgro and Russian Nationwide Organization for Student Teams have been collaborating over four years, educating future veterinarians and zootechnicians. This year is the first one, when agronomists, machine operators and technologists will be able to obtain their traineeship at EkoNivaAgro’s facilities. Now students from the MOST team will work not only on dairies, but also in fields and milk-processing plants.
‘During the next two months the students will work in accordance with their majors’, says Vitaliy Maltsev, the leader of the Agricultural Team MOST. ‘Not all students can get a chance to complete a traineeship and make some money at the same time. Members of student teams often occupy positions, which are not related to their majors, that’s why the MOST team provides a great opportunity to reinforce what they’ve learned at their university by practicing it.’
The Russian Nationwide Agricultural Student Team MOST unites 70 members from 23 various regions from Krasnodar to Chita.
‘Students from Russian agricultural universities acquire up-to-date knowledge and priceless experience through work at EkoNivaAgro’, says Yekaterina Krasikova, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Student Teams Management. ‘Apart from professional skills the guys also develop personal features. They grow independent, responsible and capable of taking deliberate decisions. All these features will certainly help our students in their future career.’
The majority of the MOST team have already come to EkoNivaAgro before. They are attracted by working conditions, production technologies and opportunities of further employment. Having visited EkoNiva’s farms once, students realize that agriculture is the industry, to which they are eager to commit their lives.
