Kaluzhskaya Niva has been operating since 2006. The enterprise specialises in milk production and processing, crop farming and pedigree livestock farming. Kaluzhskaya Niva is a breeding reproducer of Holstein cattle. The company currently employs 1,763 people (as per 01.10.2022).

Kaluzhskaya Niva comprises several farming enterprises located in seven districts of the region (Peremyshl, Ferzikovo, Kozelskiy, Medynskiy, Dzerzhinskiy, Maloyaroslavetskiy and Khvastovichskiy). The total farmland area is 84,660 ha. The total herd size is over 47,000 head thereof 21,500 dairy cows. Currently, the daily output of the enterprise amounts to 600 tonnes of milk (as per 01.10.2022).

Kaluzhskaya Niva is a stock breeding farm for raising Holstein cattle. The company offers purebred cattle of high genetic potential for sale.

The enterprise takes an active part in social welfare activities. Kaluzhskaya Niva supports veterans, local schools, kindergartens and churches, participates in the district events and dedicated trade fairs.

Young specialists employed by the enterprise receive an allowance within the context of various programs aimed at support of the talent pool established by Kaluga Oblast Government.
