Dairy industry breaks its limits

Press-centre / News,

On 27–28 November the House of Moscow Oblast Government hosted the 5th International Agricultural Dairy Forum. The event received a lot of delegates, officials, experts in agriculture, exhibitors and visitors.

Since it was held for the first time the International Agricultural Dairy Forum has earned authority as a platform for discussion of the pressing issues of the dairy market, business andagriculture.

The key event of the forum was the plenary session Dairy Industry: ‘New Rules of the Game. Exports and Processing.’ In his speech, EkoNiva Group President Stefan Duerrmemphasised the favourable conditions for the development of the dairy industry in Moscow oblast.

‘This year we’ve bought 18,000 ha of land in Stupino district of Moscow oblast’, says Stefan Duerr. ‘We have chosen the land plots and designed the construction projects. In early spring, we are starting to build two dairies for 3,000 head each. EkoNiva is expected to produce 200 tonnes of natural milk daily in Moscow oblast.’

Foreign and Russian companies displayed their dairy products and industrial equipment on the site inside the House of Moscow Oblast Dairy. At the booth, EkoNiva presented its new brand of the same name. The company produces milk, kefir, yoghurts, curds and other dairy products from natural milk using its own original recipes and know-how. That is the reason why all the way through the forum the space around Ekoniva’s booth, where tasting sessions were held, was packed with visitors.

Andrey Vorobyov, Governor of Moscow oblast, could not overlook the new brand launched in the domestic market. He visited EkoNiva’s booth and pointed out the company’s transparency in customer relations.
