Bridging the future

Press-centre / News,

On February 5th, the solemn opening ceremony of the winter session of the student agricultural troop MOST took place at Vysokoye dairy. For the third year in a row, EkoNiva has organised internship for talented students from all over Russia who view farming as their calling. The cooperation with the student agricultural troop, which has become a good tradition, continues bringing fruit: a lot of young people have already mastered various agricultural professions and obtained valuable experience on EkoNiva’s farms.

This time, 35 students from 35 regions of Russia took part in the ceremony.

Ekaterina Shalneva, specialist of non-profit-making organisation Russian Student Troops, opened the ceremony with welcoming words and wished the participants of the project to enlarge their knowledge, gain new professional skills and charge themselves with positive energy and emotions. Ekaterina stated that for each of the students, the cooperation with EkoNiva is a huge step forward in terms of professional development and career prospects.

‘We are happy to see promising ambitious young people at our enterprise’, says Vyacheslav Ionov, Chief Herd Manager of EkoNiva Left-Bank Operation. ‘We are ready to provide all necessary support, share our experience and train the interns to be true professionals.’

‘EkoNiva has recently reached a historic production landmark — 1,000 tonnes of milk per day’, adds Ekaterina Shalneva. ‘This result proves the importance of well-coordinated teamwork in farming.’

Traditionally, the symbolic flag of the project was risen over the participants. The event finished with a joyful dancing flash mob.
